Confidence in Tools

By: Hilary Rodela, Lead Digital Content Writer for Taction USA

Part of being a crime scene investigation is having tools. These tools help investigators process the scene and collect evidence. When you have the right tools it can make all the difference.

One “tool” that is one of the most crucial, is the crime scene log. This is obviously more of document, however, it is very important. The crime scene log is one of most important documents in a case, and is often submitted to court as evidence. This is since it documents who entered the scene, when, how long they were there, why they were there, and when they left. This information is imperative as it can help to eliminate any question of whether anything at the scene was tampered with.

Since crime scene logs are generally paper, they can often be crinkled, wrinkled, spilled on, stepped on, etc. However, Taction USA has a waterproof crime scene log. It is by far the best log you will ever come across. I may be biased, but I can also attest I have tried everything under the sun including running the log in bath water. Note, I didn’t put an actual crime scene log in water, just a test one. It dries without warping, and no writing is ever ruined, it stays in tact!

With the Taction USA waterproof crime scene log, you will never have to worry about your crime scene log getting ruined. Though it is just a piece of paper, it is by far one of the most important pieces of paper in a case.
