Keeping Up Helps!

By: Hilary Rodela, Lead Digital Content Writer for Taction USA

Just as it is helpful in any field to keep up to date with what is new, the same goes for those in the crime scene and forensic fields. Subscribing to forensic or criminal justice journals is one way to stay in the loop. These provide more of an academic view of what may be new in regard to the science of forensics or any updated or new legal information.

Another way to keep up with what is new in the field is to join groups on Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms. This way you can also network with other professionals in your career across the country. The bigger your network the better for your career.

Finally, attending both trainings and conferences alike can help keep you up to date. There are online trainings, in person trainings, and numerous national and regional conferences you can attend in order to stay in the know in regard to forensics and criminal justice. The more you stay up to date the better for your career and your job performance! Join our Facebook Group to stay connected! https://www.facebook.com/groups/tactionusa
